On Saturday, September 13th, 2025, MILEL made its very first public debut at The SIG in Victoria Island, Lagos. Hosted by Pop of Culture and themed “In the Mix: Vanity Room,” the event was more than just a pop-up — it was a celebration of clean, science-backed beauty and community.
From 1PM to 7PM, the space was alive with ambient lighting, scented candles, and the unmistakable energy of Lagos. Skincare lovers, influencers, skin doctors, and curious shoppers gathered to explore, test, and experience MILEL in person for the very first time.
Hands-On Skincare, The MILEL Way
One of the highlights of the day was our guided demo sessions. Guests were invited to experience our three signature products step by step:
• The Exfoliating Body Wash — powered by willow bark, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, licorice extract, and vitamin B5 for a refreshing, skin-renewing cleanse.
• The Moisturising Body Lotion — enriched with sweet almond oil, rice protein, niacinamide, kojic acid, azelaic acid, and vitamin E to nourish and brighten.
• The Hydrating Body Oil — a luxurious blend of sweet almond, sunflower, and coconut oils with calendula, CoQ10, beta carotene, allicin, and vitamin E for a silky, radiant finish.

The feedback was overwhelming. One guest admitted that the Body Oil was “so good and beautifully scented, I don’t want anything else on my skin.”

Why This Moment Mattered
For MILEL, this was more than an event — it was a first face-to-face connection with our community. After launching as a digital-first Nigerian skincare brand, the Lagos debut gave us the chance to share our vision in person: minimalist, luxurious, clean body care that competes with international quality.

With interactive Q&A sessions, an aromatherapy candle corner, and space for honest product feedback, this pop-up marked a milestone in building a community around conscious self-care.
What’s Next for MILEL?
As our Lagos debut proved, there’s a growing appetite for premium, vegan, cruelty-free skincare made in Nigeria. While we can’t say too much yet, let’s just say the talks of a future Abuja experience have us very excited.
For now, we’re celebrating this unforgettable first step — and looking forward to everything still to come.
